Schild­berg Con­struc­tion Com­pa­ny is look­ing for a self-moti­vat­ed, detail-ori­ent­ed, self-starter to sup­port our Heavy Equip­ment Repair depart­ment. What will you do? This posi­tion has a mul­ti­tude of respon­si­bil­i­ties, includ­ing, but not lim­it­ed to: 1) track­ing equip­ment hour usage for war­ran­ty com­pli­ance and repair sched­ules, 2) pro­cess­ing work and repair orders for our mechan­ics, and 3) track­ing equip­ment pur­chas­es and repairs for opti­mal usage. This posi­tion requires com­put­er pro­fi­cien­cy, includ­ing expe­ri­ence with Microsoft office, as well as the abil­i­ty to work inde­pen­dent­ly and prob­lem-solve. Road Truck Dri­ver Positions

Due to con­tin­ued growth in our busi­ness, Schild­berg Con­struc­tion Com­pa­ny is hir­ing for all road truck dri­ver posi­tions based out of Green­field, Iowa. Suc­cess­ful appli­cants must have or be able to achieve a Class A or Class B CDL license.

Fam­i­ly-owned and oper­at­ed since 1937, Schild­berg Con­struc­tion Com­pa­ny (SCCI) is the lead­ing lime­stone aggre­gate pro­duc­er in South­west Iowa. SCCI is always look­ing for great peo­ple eager to be part of a team, to be chal­lenged, and inter­est­ed in per­son­al pro­mo­tion and growth. Our road truck dri­vers typ­i­cal­ly work a 40+ hours per week, depend­ing on the sea­son, with no overnight trav­el required. Roger Sennett

Roger has worked at Schild­berg Con­struc­tion Com­pa­ny for over 48 years, from his first day on the job on April 16, 1973 to his retire­ment on Feb. 4, 2022. Through­out that time, Roger has worked as a quar­ry truck dri­ver. He oper­at­ed a bull­doz­er and loader off and on and also worked as a plant­man for 20 years.

“I was a mem­ber of the U.S. Army Reserve when I was hired, and I was always sup­port­ed in that. I retired from the Army Reserve after 25 years, and I nev­er expect­ed I would stay at one job that long. I’ve enjoyed work­ing at Schild­berg Con­struc­tion because it’s fam­i­ly-ori­ent­ed. They took care of my fam­i­ly when I went to war in Oper­a­tions Desert Shield and Storm.”
