Schildberg Construction Company is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter to support our Heavy Equipment Repair department. What will you do? This position has a multitude of responsibilities, including, but not limited to: 1) tracking equipment hour usage for warranty compliance and repair schedules, 2) processing work and repair orders for our mechanics, and 3) tracking equipment purchases and repairs for optimal usage. This position requires computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft office, as well as the ability to work independently and problem-solve. Road Truck Driver Positions
Due to continued growth in our business, Schildberg Construction Company is hiring for all road truck driver positions based out of Greenfield, Iowa. Successful applicants must have or be able to achieve a Class A or Class B CDL license.

Our road truck drivers typically work a 40+ hours per week, depending on the season, with no overnight travel required. Including predecessor companies, Dick has worked at Schildberg Construction Company since 1966. He has held several different positions within the company and currently serves as an aglime salesman and also scales and loads trucks at the quarries during the off-season.
“I’m happy to be going to work at five in the morning. I enjoy running the scales and loaders in the summer, and I get to meet and visit a lot of different people. Cory has worked at Schildberg Construction Company for eight years, starting as a truck driver. He was later promoted to driller and is now a mechanic.

Roger Sennett
Roger has worked at Schildberg Construction Company for over 48 years, from his first day on the job on April 16, 1973 to his retirement on Feb. 4, 2022. Throughout that time, Roger has worked as a quarry truck driver. He operated a bulldozer and loader off and on and also worked as a plantman for 20 years.
“I was a member of the U.S. Army Reserve when I was hired, and I was always supported in that. I retired from the Army Reserve after 25 years, and I never expected I would stay at one job that long. I’ve enjoyed working at Schildberg Construction because it’s family-oriented. They took care of my family when I went to war in Operations Desert Shield and Storm.”
